Text Link Ads sold a link!

Hey everyone. I am very excited to announce that on my website at www.peterfoti.com TLA has sold 1 out of 10 text links so far this month. The link is all the way on the bottom of the page and is worth $8.50. Has anyone had similar success with TLA?

Basically in six months I've sold 1 ad without doing anything, the other ad I contacted several sites that I noticed advertising on similar websites, and the other ad I sold myself through here. I think it's a crapshoot.

A lot of sites that have no where near the traffic or PR as me sell out. I think it's all about where you land in their search results on TLA and I won't be shy about saying that their search results aren't that good. I have two sites with them, that aren't listed in any categories. So how people are supposed to find them I don't know.

I think you just have to get lucky.
Look at www.tylercruz.com all the way at the bottom (where mine are) he has sold 2 links at $50 a piece (according to blog) his site is a PR 5 with good traffic! I think it just about getting lucky and hoping someone finds your site.
