Template psds and slice problems

Hi All,

having trouble lately with template psds & slices

If I use any from my designempire account, I need to use the new PS 8.0 edition otherwise the psd is one big slice..

If I use any from templatesresource.com, any ps program I use shows them as one slice?

Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

I have both 7.0 and 8.0 installed.

I would love to get this settled soon so I can uninstall and possibly resell my 7.0 PS since I hopefully wont need it anymore..

Any suggestions?

Hmm... sounds really weird. Never had this problem myself... anyone?
