its a really good name but out of my current budget. Hold on to it for a few years and you should see X,XXX

good luck

Its already low x,xxx reseller if you ask me.

I am going for low to mid xx,xxx development on this one. Already have a logo.

But yeah gingeman, I think it already worth low x,xxx undeveloped resellers price.

Thanks for appraisals guys.

Hm, maybe it's just me but I don't see the x,xxx or higher value here.. only 900+ OVT and higher Google than teat which has 1300+ OVT.. I've always seen "teat" as the preferred spelling. Even then, I don't see it used much.

If I'm missing something, point it out to me.. I see this as a high xx - low xxx domain at best.

this is 2 of the same premium letter pronouncable and highly brandable LLLL.com

If this is not enough, you simply are not in LLLL market. :)

Guess not.. and I still feel that's ridiculously high when there are plenty of alternative domains for way less that are much better.. why spend time branding when you can spend the same amount on a high OVT keyword domain? Guess that's a market I have no interest in..

It is strange when you rate domains only by their overture.

How much you think poho.com worth? Just your opinion. I will after tell how much I did sell it for 1 month ago.

poho.com was ~40uniques/day and minor revenue.

teet.com is ~10 uniques/day but much better letters and brandability.

p.s.:

Infi.com

Infi has ovt 114 and no ovt w/ext. sold for $57,500 on sedo.

How come? There are so many more cheaper and better overture score names. e.g. cellularphones.at

I'm just posing the question of brandability vs ready to go domains.. I can see value in infi, not poho and would have no interest in spending big bucks to get it and THEN brand it.. why bother is my point? This fascination with double letters makes no sense to me.. pronounceable and being searched for, yes.

I see more value in LLLL logonyms or alphaglyphs.. at least those make sense to me in a visual sense.

I also don't see the value in LLL .com yet I know people who buy LLL letter combinations that have no meaning.. astounds me that the market exists.

Well, we simply have a different approach and vision. You are probably right from your point of view. But I am sure I am from mine.

When I need short .com for my new big project with mid xx,xxx budget. I will go for a very brandable and easy to remember word.

Why google didn't go with internetsearch.com?

Well, let's just be friends. I have one vision, you have another.

btw. poho.com sold for $3,200 in 2 weeks after I bought it for $1,650.

Oh, it's not that I don't agree that brandable names can be the way to go at times.. I just can't see paying high dollar for them vs a keyword domain. I've had many brandable domains in the past but never one I paid more than reg fee for.

I kind of agree with dgridley, but not on the same premise that he's going on. Double letters and pronouncability aside, I just don't see how this domain could be positively branded... It's different if it's a made up word, but teet is definitely a real word, even though its teat, its pronounced the same and still holds the same connotation. That word has an extremely debilitating impact on the possible usage for the domain. What kind of site would someone host at teet.com? I think the end-user market is probably nearing zero for this domain. So I think your best bet would be to flip it to another domainer who is short-sighted enough not to see that the market ends with him and take whatever profit you can get.

Personally, I would pay far more for poho.com than teet.com, so obviously my appraisal for this domain lies significantly below $3200

poho at least could be branded in a number of different ways, including the obvious po'ho...
