I just purchased this with the possibility of creating a tech gear site.
Curious to know what you guys think it might be worth as a standalone domain?

As a standalone domain, I'd pin it on the Lower XXX side...bit tricky (if it was "tech", easy XX,XXX). However, if you have ideas to create a tech site, power to you. Hope it works out

I agree with jhm. It would have been a great name if it's techgear. I'd suggest low to mid xxx.

Many thanks for your replies, much appreciated.
I agree it's probably a tricky one, 'techiegear.com' previously sold for $888 and of course 'techgear.com' previously sold for $20,500. That little 'y' makes all the difference!
Thanks again :)

Low xxx range. Indeed "y" makes the - difference.

True, but what puzzles me is why Techiegear.com sold at $888? More common spelling perhaps?
