TechTalk on NamePros = Dead beat scammer

Here is my warning:

DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS WITH TECHTALK

He offered to create a logo for me - I gave himt he site it needed to match, the colors, the format, the fonts the whole 9 - I also put down a down payment of 50% of the logo.

He came up with 3 or 4 concepts and sent them to me - first off they were all horrible, and secondly they were all the generic logos you find in the mass logo/template packages found on ebay.

I told him this and it was not what I was looking for - the font, format, colors were all wrong...I needed a blue logo and he made it orange and green...

He said he would fix it and came out with another logo...this time the font color was changed to a blue that did not match AND he left the green and orange.

After this I decided that I no longer wanted his services, as he was not listening to me(the client), and requested a refund. He then refused and decided that he was done and that I liked the final product, which I did not. He then proceded to ask me for the other 50% of payment or I would get nothing, which I obviously said no to.

I asked once again for a refund stating why I wanted one and why everything was wrong and he begun to curse at me, why I do not know.

All in all I'm out a few bucks, I'm here to warn the rest of NamePros about TechTalk and how he is a dead beat scammer - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM

He scammed me as well!!! Sold me a template that he said was unique and I found it on templatemonster!!! Don't do any business with this scammer!!!

Ouch, current good logo makers i have found: Qbanboy, Flubber, Visin. Niek and will7 also GJ who did my awsome avatar and MSn dpic. few others probablyThey are the ones who have designed for me and are dammed good.

Well ... I'm sorry to hear that. Did you ask to see his past works before hiring him ??? You should always do that.

Number 2, did you pay him via paypal ???

If you did, you can claim the cash back.

The person who recieved the money in the case of a "virtual item" always wins...no use there

TechTalk has been banned. He continued to insist his logos and templates wern't Template Monsters (or free). I'm sure he doesn't have the money anymore for a refund. He's quite happy to continue "making" these logos for Nick, but won't refund... he then figured that swearing and threatening NamePros, myself and RJ in chat and via PM is acceptable.

Nick, I'd advise you to try a PayPal dispute for the $10.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm continually amazed by the behaviour of some people... *shakes head* I'm happy to hear he's been banned.

It's horrible to think that people continue to operate even after scamming several people. Thanks scott for removing him and thanks nick for having this problem made public.
