Reg. fee+/+, IMHO ... is perhaps what I'd pay right now if I had the need for such a domain/site.
Double "h" hurts the domain name, in my view.

Last I knew, "t0ny" owned this domain/site ... and he has been removed from the Namepros site for continually spamming and harassing members with this (and other) domain names for sale. :tri:

That whois is the other Tony (Dr.Pepper) that Rob purchased it from. So Rob owns the domain, and we split all profit. I think we wont sell this for a while anyways, very nice money from Google.

IF he made 400$ in 4 days from adsense, he and several of his friends must have clicked a lot on the adsense ads, and google will most likely close down his account soon... :hehe:

I may not know much about domain names, but I know a thing or two about online advertising...

If this was really the thing, and you where offered as much money as you say you have, I personally wouldn't sell up. Think what you could make in a few months time when that membership number keeps doubling...

Right now, though, I'd pay $20 for that domain, if I had any need for it. It's not really the best of names either.

If you look at how many times the different topics have been viewed you can tell that he never gets 600-700 uniques a day..
Only one page of the site is listed in google too...

Phew - a lot of hysteria goin on around old namepros these days. Come on everybody, lets all calm down and see if this can all be sorted out amicably.

Phrone, I think people are just a bit sus at the moment with everybody having their twopence worth (I suppose that includes me :p ). I have read all the threads about this and am trying to keep an open mind. With regards to the claims about how much it has made a day then yes, if I was going to purchase it I would definetely wish to see

i.) screenshots of stats
ii.) testimony from the google ads account that is producing these figures.

In addition to that, Rob is trying to have appraised a site that it is being claimed as having made $400 in the last 4 days off of Google Adsense and he is claiming to have received an offer of $200. Why would he want to sell at this ridiculously low price - that factor alone makes me instantly suspicious.

I think it best if we allow the mods to finish investigating the ownership question on the other threads (or has this already been done - can't remember).

With regards to the appraisals - undeveloped I have to agree with CH BUT if all the claims can be proven then I think I would happily pay $200 for it though I think he should hold out for more.

Nothing personal against Rob, and I think that the site has some great potential.
But I run several sites myself, and I have used Adsense since it was launched, so I know a bit about it....
It is possible to make 100$ pr day from that site, but not legally...
Clicking own ads, or encurage others to do it is against the adsense terms, and the account will eventually be closed, without you getting any money....
(google logs IP's, so too many clicks from the same IP's will get you shut down!!)

Make the forum google friendly, get more posts and members, place adsense in the topics, and you can make a good (and legal) income from adsense.
There will be some high-paying keywords in those topics!

But 600-700 unique visitors pr day, when the posts are only viewed 10-20 times each, and with only one page in google;
That I do not believe!
If you could show me some evidence: maybe. (logs can be faked..)

But this is getting a bit off-topic..

So to the appraisal:
Domain name: Reg.fee+
Developed site: At least xxx to low xxxx with enough posts and members!
The site idea has great potential, and Adsense can really give you a nice income here!

Because the ads are also on www.itemplates.us (another site I am slowly developing) It was up on the 7th, and later got google ads added on the 9th; I then emailed google adsense about techhangout. It was approved, and the ads were added.

In that case, how sure are you that the ~$400 earned via adsense is due to TechHangout? What if all that came from itemplates, and zero from TechHangout?

I use Analog Stats. It sais I only got 50 hits to iTemplates.us; the rest for TechHangout.com. I would higly doubt that every visitor to itemplates.us clicked the google ads; however it is not impossible.

I agree armstrong..What I think right now is that this domain/site is just bringing out the worst of namepros and that doesnt do too well with me..

Whats up with that? If you feel this way..then leave now.

Dont be mad that ppl are just asking things to make the best appraisal possible. Making $400 through other sites also does not make this one any more valuable.
