Taxes

Does anyone have any opinions and/or knowledge on taxes relating to web-hosting? I live in the state of South Carolina. So, do I only calculate sales tax for those who host with me in the state of South Carolina, or everywhere in the USA?

I'm starting to put together all of my earnings and expanses for the past year, to get ahead of the busy tax season.

Only in SC I believe, although depends from state to state and what the law requires you. You need to register your company with your state, so should be on the papers they give you there.

Well, I am registered as a sole-proprietor. I have been told that is all I need to do. Thanks for the response!

You may want to look into that a bit further and get a signature at your local government office saying that you don't need to do anymore..better to be safe then sorry.
