Hi,

The masked characters there are not actual length. Now - suppose I want to register the name. Would I be able to sell it? the .com is for sale but apparently hasn't sold.

Would this cause legal issues with the united states government...?

Any help appreciated,

-Matt

Depends on the site.
If it doesn't involve the I.R.S. then you probably wont get into much trouble.

Well, I've decided not to reg it.

The domain I was considering is: PayTaxes.us

Since it DOES sort of involve (lol, MORE than sort of) the IRS, I have decided not to get it. Go get it if YOU want though. ;)

I dont think it would cause trouble. You have to pay taxes in a lot of countries and there are always diff types.

Yes but this doesnt really apply when you have the .US domain tld, it is a sort of a no go, because if you arent American, you arent meant to be registering US domains and if you are it could be seen as a potentially fraudulent and misleading domain.
