HTML help.. noobie 8(

I'm a little stuck on using tables, or frames.. I would much prefer tables, though sense I am new, I am only going on base of what I have seen. Not what I have done.

What do you recommend? Tables or Frames?

A friend recommend "DIV's", though from researching, I'm not to sure if I can put that into the table vs frames genre.

All help is appreciated..

Tables, frames and divs all have their places. For most purposes using div is the cleanest and best way. What kind of layout are you doing?

Tables and Frames are two completely different objects.

For quality web design and for an optimized site you should forget about using frames IMO.

Seeing that you are new to this, you may as well learn to use the latest in web design so as -RJ- stated above learn to layout your pages using divs and css (cascading style sheets), this will display your site best cross-browser and add more functionality.

However if you after just mocking up a quick website use tables, as this is much easier to learn and layout your pages with as you dont need any knowledge of using css.

Just look up in google for html templates and you should learn how to use tables very quickly.

More detail is required, I would definitely recommend <div>s over frames or tables for design though.

Tables are for tabulated data, frames are for uh... Displaying another webpage, comparing two documents, not really for design purposes. (But frames can be -nearly- emulated using <div>s anyway.)

Hello Mate, i want to answer your question. Hope this could help you anyway.
Table the one of type of developer use. And for the reason of SEO, Loading page, and Quality page, theres a new way for design. All have to called Frames. Why using Frames ? hmm.. i thing its so complicated. But theres a three advantage to using frames actually. Table Less... yes all people have called like that :)

regards.
