With the creation of the first synthetic organism a couple of days ago (a bacterium cell), news articles are now using the tern "synthetic genome."
The man-made creation of synthetic life, even a single cell, is a monumental achievement...the baby steps leading to synthetic organs with synthetic DNA that perfectly match the host's own...thus, no rejections...and no waiting for donated organs...and maybe even synthetic stem cells. If so, it's a brave new world.
I'd really appreciate your thoughts on it's current and future value....and maybe any ideas for use or targeted buyers.
Thanks.
