An interesting thing I found out when submitting some pics of the opera house to iStockPhoto is that you need permission to sell the photos on there.
It's a copyrighted building. I hadn't heard of that before.

Not sure how that would hold up in court.

The Effiel Tower can be photographed and the images sold by the photographer, then they added the lights and the owner of the lights claimed that the images of the Effiel Tower at night could not be used/sold, as they had copyright ownership of it.

But that has recently been overturned at court.

The photos at sydneyoperahouse.org were taken by my father. Over thirty years ago.

The little lad in some of those photos is me.
