Hi there, I am really new and this is my first post ever.
Together with two friends we bought sweden.tv and are now online starting to develop this site slowly into something special (we hope). We were really wondering what your apraisal is of sweden.tv. I know the .tv extension is (still) not popular, but we like it anyway and think it is the future.
The fee is mid $$$ a year.

First of all, welcome to NamePros.com . As for the name, the .tv extention does kill it BUT what are you developing it into, if this was my name, obviously it would be something to do with Swedish TV Broadcasting, But until i know what your exactly doing with it, id have to say Mid - High $xx for it.

I have to say this is a really good domain name. It makes a lot of sense and Sweden is fairly popular. I'm going to say it's worth $100-$125 and since .TV registration is even more I ranging it from $150-$175.

The site will be showing Swedish latest news, all information about what's going on in the main cities and more similar travel things, but the main thing will be Swedish TV channels. This will also make it fit the extension.

Now that's how you add value to a site. Developed with 50,000-100,000 unique visitors a month and the features you described and some revenue: probably mid $xxxx to start (as long as the traffic comes from Sweden, that is).

Well now you have told us what you plan on doing, i think it is a fantastic idea, and i compleatly agree with the rest of the members, once developed, with good content and traffic flow, this could quite easily fetch a fair amount of money, im not going to say a value, because i dont think you can put a value on it right now, once the site is fully functional please let us know and we shall go from there.

Will keep you up to date when the site is finished, although it can still take some few months. My first site going online is See.tv in three weeks from now, I am really looking forward to that. I was trying to go to bed, but this forum and internet in general is really addicting

A nice name and the extension fits, there have been a few high profile .tv sales recently so gaining popularity.

It is definitely worth more than the mid $xxx annual reg fee and you development ideas should reap major benefits.

I would think very low $x,xxx to a end user at the moment and good development will multiply that but - who knows by how much- good luck :hi:

I recall China.tv was sold for mid 6 figures, and Scotland.tv for mid 5 figure (correct me if I was wrong)

Sweden.tv should be in the 5 figure range.
