Thanks. I used to be involved in the Surf Industry so I am well aware of them. I did speak with them regarding and they were not interested at the time...Everything changes with time so I remain hopeful...Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated..Best to you!

My suggestion for the domain surfers.org is to donate it to the previous users. The domain was used from 1996 to host a text based chat system called a talker and probably one of the Internet's earlier social networking systems, primitive compared to what we have now but popular in it's time. The people who ran Surfers, as in the server/chat program, didn't own the domain and for whatever reason the domain at some point was no longer associated with the server.

I think it's a shame that the domain is now being used for commercial purposes and I think it would be very nice of you if it was donated back to the people who used it and have some long term association with it.

You are correct, after I purchased the domain, I learned of its unique history.....You are wrong, saying the domain can have no "commercial purpose"... The domain was sold to me via "commercial purpose". In other words, I PURCHASED the domain, it was not "donated"....
