Suggestion

I was wondering that when you subscribe to a thread and request an instant notification it would be great to do a quick reply from your handheld, ie Blackberry instead of finding a computer to log into. I know it is possible because you can do it on Blogger. Just a suggestion, would be a rocking feature for those on the go and can partcipate in a discussion anywhere, anytime.

Well, I have internet access on my blackberry and once I get an instant email I can browse to the NP site, log in, etc and reply but I was wondering when you get the instant email on a post if you can just reply to the email and post back without having to log into the site.

I likes, without logging in could there be a security concern? Please share more with regard to the technology, your vision for this - perhaps even beyond simple replies - and how it works presently with Blackberry/Blogger.

Well, on Blogger you can publish remotely, via handheld. You get instant notification as we do if someone comments on a thread that you have subscribed to in our case or posted on your blog in the Blogger case. Blogger gives the owner of the blog an email to respond to a post to his blog. It would be something like this for NP: [email protected] Not sure of how this technology works but boy it would be awesome as you said to have Mobile NP!!! The amount of posts and responses would increase dramatically.

Both, very generally speaking, the "portability" and "localization" of the Namepros Network™ are the types of things that I would like to see evolve as we move into the New Year '06, IMHO. This "Suggestions" thread is excellent, and as always more thoughts are welcome and encouraged. :music:
