Re; NP Rule 6.1.9.
Member Services (Amanda) messaged this friendly reminder to me:
"Your domains were linked to an external marketplace which is not allowed outside of the External Domains and Website Sales forum. The thread was moved to that forum...".
I replied explaining that I simply forgot to remove the formatting of 7 .com names for sale (formatting made them hot active links and capable ot going external). Once I heard this, I copied them to a Gmail draft and removed the formatting and then brought them back to NP to create a new thread but without any of them hot (active links). I asked Amanda to take a look.
I also messaged this suggestion for Amanda and member services to consider:
"I offer a suggestion that would still keep the rule of externals strict, and in place, but also eliminate drama and soften the tone (only use the strong-arm approach for the real real bad choosing members, like those with a history of unwillingness, not caring about our community). ed. grammar edited
Assuming (giving benefit of the doubt that the member's thread with the active links was NOT intentional), instead of pouncing on the violator with an instant conviction and sentence, give them a 24 hours notice to correct or delete the active links OR have them moved to external by member services OR if they don't want to correct or delete, to move thread to external themselves.
I'm not saying this for any other rule".

.
What do you think of this?
I very much welcome replies. *L* (ps. I did the poll thing but i could have made mistakes as I'm quite new with this).
