Could not stand to reg. it.

Palindrome USA domain.
su4.us = "Short Urls for us" f.e.

What do you think - a good choice? Try to sell it. What price should I set?

PS - a little tip - found it with the search_short_domains tool sequence:
java search_short_domains us 2 0 2 LETTERS "" NOSPLIT 4
There is really a lot of those free, but this seemed the best to me :)

i'd ask for refund.. it's a bit of a stretch to hope anyone can decrypt su4.us into "Short URL for US".. even then it would have no value - ShortURLforUS.com is avail and has been *never* regged before

Just a random ccc.us domain, there is little value.us.
Even good LLL.us are hard to sell.
And .us has ownership restrictions too, you probably don't quality.

Just random? Its a palindrome, 4= for is hip, and it is short enough for a shortener.
I hoped for $$$ price as realistic.
What do you mean with ownership restrictions?

You must be a U.S. Citizen or have a presence in the U.S. to own them.

And I have to agree with the above appraisals. When I first saw it, I tried to see why you regged it, and thought more of a personal injury lawyer site, like "sue for". Either way, if you have to think about what it means, it probably isn't worth it.

US citizen? Hey I'm from Poland and don't think to give my polish citizenship away!
Moniker.com did not forbid it to me to reg. it. Or has Poland really happen now to be the 51'th state of USA like some people joke by us :D ?

Some registrars provide trustees, but seems a little strange, that you didn't even know about the restriction on domain you own.

Why should I even think so. Thought USA, calling all the time for liberalizing the markets, never would have such protectionistic rules for domains, LOL :D In deed I think nobody cares, some german registrars offer .us too. I currently try to sell this original domain for 129$ on the website but for NP members I would make a special.

I alsobought 7ls.net (7 Link Shortener) and offer it for 99$. Do you think 7ls.net is worth more than su4.us ? What's 7ls.net worth? 129$ ok?

The registrars do not proactively check that the registrant is eligible.
Even though you live in Poland, you might be eligible if you have a bona fide presence in the US.

Many domainers seem to be unaware that .us is restricted or they choose to ignore the rules.
The registry sometimes does spot checks, even deletes domains.

This is not a high-value domain, but I recommend that domainers always be compliant in order not to jeopardize their investments :gl::gl:

the website I sell this domains is Nr 1 - Nr 3 in Google if someone is looking for 1 charecter domains etc. Its dedicated to investors and end-users more than to the forum domainers. So what price should i make for su4.us and 7ls.net? I dont have a clue what to take, what would be serious.

Site is http://www.1-single-letter-domains.com

Ah...the crappiest domain I have seen in one or two days.

Who really cares that su4 means something?
Like, people in the USA are not going to go hunting for su4.

Drop it.

But it looks like you want to keep it, so keep it and continue paying renewals.
Or wait for the registrar to get checking and take the domain from you.
Which means you lost money as they will not refund.

And since it seems you just want an appraisal?
Wrong forum bubba!

I suppose maybe some just wait me to drop this unique precious pearl of a domain so they could catch it. And who is bubba - don't know? I'm Jan.

Short.....
Keep the domain!

Why did you even bother to ask if you got your mind set that this is such a premium domain that is worth big bucks?

Well, I like the discurse. And my comment was a little ironic meant ;) In deed I have no clue what the domain should be worth. Somebody just offered me 800% of my price 10 minutes ago but I think to wait if I could get 1000%. Seems $$$ will not be possible though I like this domain myself quite much. As for me 129$ should be the lowest price, but if you say thats to much... ok

SOLD after 1 day. 900% pure win.

I don't know why I red the title us4.us lol, that would be a nice domain.
But su4.us does not have any value. The best way is to flip it and you could probably get a mid $xx as site

Good luck

Thanks ioana_bv, as told its already sold. 900% pure win after 1 day.
I found it with search_short_domains using this command:
java search_short_domains us 2 0 2 LETTERS "" NOSPLIT 4

precious pearl of a domain
That's hilarious!
as i explained - this was the funny part :D But if we consider that it sold for 10 times more than I bought it, and after only 1 day - then maybe it was not so ironic at all :D

I really liked the domain su4.us - see its the same read backwards, and SU4.us can be remembered as "Short Urls For Us"
