I have been trying to download and install a copy of Web Matrix as I am running XP Home on this machine and cannot run IIS or PWS. So I have been on the site for WM following this link and that link until I find the download, which requires that you have the .NET framework installed. To verify they have a link you can click and blah blah blah.
Now for me this should not be a problem as I KNOW I have it on here only clicking the link tells me that's not so. Huh? Re-click, same thing. Control Panel--> Add/Remove Program and there it is. Maybe it is corrupt. Uninstall/Reinstall, fourty re-boots later and back to the website, click on the link and the SAME THING.
Then in tiny letter below, where I missed the first few times is the clause, Only works with IE 5.5+. D'oh! Here I am trying it in FF 1.5, D'oh! I had to kick myself for that one.
