linker said:Hi SKG,
Have you sold any of your GEO .tvs or are you looking mostly at developing them?
I have 4 in my cart at GoDaddy right now... Smaller places but possibly good niche tourist destinations, and these are the kind of places that people go online to look up... All of the .coms are taken...
Just wondering what you thoughts are on these types of names, I am betting that you like them a lot![]()
I am just trying to decide if I want to spend $100 on these right now... :hehe:

Well, the reason I am hesitating on 3 of them is that the .coms are all parked... One the .com is a developed site...gamehouse said:Geos are safe bets. Either you can register them before somebody else registers or pass on that cart to me.
Thanks and good luck,

Thanks SKG, I appreciate the input!SKG said:Hi Linker, to answer you question, I have not sold any geos, however that is by my choice. I have had multiple offers on many of them. I have plans for them in the future.
If you are comtemplating on buying geos, I strongly feel they are one the least risky niches. Travel and Community verticals are the two that will benefit the most from proper web 2.0 development, imo.

I am going to be patient and check them again tomorrow and then decide...
Funny thing is when I went there I still got $49.99 each in the cart... $24.99 each at GD...Did you consider registering at enom instead for cheap price for multiple years?

Anyway, like I said these are smaller type places, smilar to a .com I own Mabua... but these places are a little bigger, anyway... I am going to sleep on them...
Yup, that is what I did and I see: $ 49.95/yrgamehouse said:Use Enom.tv (create an account if necessary) not enom.com
Good luck,

linker said:I decided to pass on those smaller Geos... I did get a new .tv last night, though... I went with SaintJohn.tv... Saint John is my home city, actually, located in New Brunswick Canada...
In May 2006 the City had a population of 69,961 and its Census Metropolitan Area (CMA) population was 126,000...
Obviosuly Saint John can be used for a lot of other things, too...
If any of you guys want to know those other ones that were available PM me, and they are certainly not big places or anything, so be forewarned...![]()

SO my 1st buy was St Maarten.Tv
i had never heard of St.Maartn before but had heard of St.Martin, after doing a bit of reading then it appears St.Martin & St.Marten share an Island in the Caribean (unless im wrong)
St Martin is French side of Island & St Maarten is Dutch.
Overture Info:
St Maarten: 20296
St Martin: 23608
St.Maarten.com has been developed into a nice tourist orientated site. Im pretty happy with my 1st Geo .TV so far, what do you guys think??
