I have a name under backorder and Its current status reads as:

Will this mean that the chances of me getting this domain name when it expires is zilch?

Its expirey date is:

Sat Nov 06 23:59:00 GMT+00:00 2004

...... But its still working! Very confusing

The domain is just "locked" which means that it can't be transferred away, data changed, or anything without authorizing it. That's just for the protection and security of the owner. Everyone should keep their domains locked at all times, except when making changes or transferring to the new owner's account. :tu:

It will remain working until it's reached the point of no return. A domain goes through several stages in it's life. Once a domain is past the expiration date then it will remain in redemption period for around 30 days in which the owner may renew the name. If he/she doesn't renew it after that point, then it will then go to "Delete Pending" in which it will be at that point for about 5-6 days. It will then be dropped to the general public, unless it's snapped.

huh, Ive just realised that it says that it's registra is:

REGISTRY REGISTRAR

What does that Mean?
