Starting to get Sedo clicks

Just log in to my Sedo account today and for my domain OPKG.com I got 2 uniques and 2 clicks at .34/per click, not too bad for Sedo I thought. I've had it parked there for a few months now, with nothing until today. Hopefully this will continue, as I've read in some of the posts here on how low some of the click earnings are from Sedo. I also got a click on one of my dating domains (primedating.net) and that click only got me 3 cents. I know this is nothing to write home about, but I thought .34/per click was fairly good for Sedo, is this good? The highest click I got was an Adsense click through 1Plus for .45 cents.

What keywords are you using? They will ultimately determine your earnings as well as success. you can optimize your keywords to relevent searches. Do a google search for OPKG and see what you come up with.

Also, since KG is the abbreviation for Kilogram, split the four lettes into two words. There may be some relevence to the opium crop (OP) which is measured and weighed in KiloGrams. This was just in the news as the largest crop ever on record from Afghanistan. Your four letters may be an acronym for this storyline. Sounds crazy?

It may not be as many times sudden jumps in searches and clicks have something to do with what is making international headlines.

See what you come up with and go from there.

Thanks for the info circa. The keyword I'm using is "domain name", go figure. Maybe not the best choice, as you make a good point in your post. Maybe I should change the keywords to "opium kilograms", but I do have a moral issue with that, not something I want to promote. I'll have to do some more research and come up with some better keywords I guess. In the meantime I'll keep watching the CTR. Thanks for the reply.

Understand your concern, just trying to account for the spike or sudden interest in your traffic. Naturally, there would be no sites actually selling the product but may take the viewer to international news feeds.

The keywords domain names works equally well for me. I have not been able to quite figure out why one pays more that the other, but the PPC is anywhere for 3 cents on the low end to a high of $1.07 on the high end. Again, don't know why such a difference...same content.

Ya, kind a strange, oh well, I think I'll just keep it as it is for the next week or so, and see how it goes with the ctr.

my experience with sedo parking, those low traffic domains never really improve by itself.

Keywords can make all the difference. You can start out at 2cents click and it can jump to .49 and all the way up. I have been thrilled to occasionaly find a $5.00 click on Sedo, rare though it is.

domain name is a decent paying keyword... domain registration may be better, I don't know. But I figure if you're getting clicks, and it's a decent paying keyword, why change it? Something more relevant may get more clicks, but they may pay 3 cents. And it doesn't sound like you're getting a ton of traffic, no?

I am receiving 0.02-0.03 average from sedo, which is too low.
When sedo next payout will ?
