Your opinion please!

Hi all, i've just realize today of the income we can get in the domain "business"! Well is that i found in a forum a guy that have the te.com and he thinked that his domain was worth like $80, but he had an offer of $40k!

I will start gathering some domains and work on them, so i'm counting on you guys help! :hehe:

As for now i got this 3 domains, any appraisal will be more than welcome!

There are only 676 LL.com (L for letter) combinations and therefore their value is sky high. Among these 676 the mentioned name is a very good one since it has one vowel and one good consonant (q,x,w,j,y, being bad consonants). Smillarly there are only 1000 NNN.com combinations. Even LLL.com's are very expensive and can be hardly seen on the market.

trustedclinics.com has some potential to be developed. I appraise this name at $40. If there is a clinic with the name "trusted" and you sell to them then you are looking for mid xxx.

"pay or die".com is a funny name. It appears there has been a movie with that name. It could be build as fan site for that movie. It looks like there are some fans. I would say it is worth $50 undeveloped.

I don't know the actual number, but it is (I think) no where near actually that many LL.com's. They can't be reg'd anymore and only existing ones can be transfered, renewed, etc. This makes the value higher than the sky.

As for payordie.com and trustedclinics.com, I think they could both get low to mid $xx.

Dan is right. They made one letter and later on some two letter domains unavailable. I wasn't thinking much at the time of writing.

I have looked into this issue a little more and I'm a little confused know. It appears all LL.com's were bought by people and icann now tries to get them back. It looks like people who bought them have the right to renew the names. On the other hand if they sell the name can the buyer renew the name, this is unclear.

Its like Dan said. Only existing LL.coms can be renewed... Ones that people let drop for whatever reason are forever lost to the world and can never be registered again. You can however sell/transfer domains, because it happens occassionally. A 2L domain should be able to fetch 6 figures.

I don't know, he just said that he was kidding about the $40k and that he had guy that offered him a "reasonale offer" and never heard from him again!

surf-ia.com - i'm actually working on this one, the domain at the present time got like 100+ unique visits a day (just opened the site like 2 weeks ago i think), i'm now working on the pagerank! I will also add this domain to the 1st post for appraisals!

the best domain you have at moment in my eyes would have to be trustedclinics.com do to it being very easy to brand and about the 2 letter domain yes thoose are very rare and can bring a good amount of money
