Hi,

I just picked this up for reg fee.
I know the extension isn't that strong, but both .com and .org are developed.
I work in sales in the cleaning industry and thought it might be a good name for a company that sells window cleaning supplies. Squeegees are also used for screen printing.

Is there any value in this domain?

I sell squeegees every day from a wide range of manufacturers. It's no less a generic term than bin, mop or broom.

Maybe I should have worded it as "possible" trademark issues if that helps.

If you search "squeegee" for trademarks, many marks are registered.

Some in the cleaning industry, some not.

Promoting to businesses with these marks may result in "possible" legal issues.

Even if they are in the wrong, it's not worth the hassle over a name like this.

Ok, well I can't argue with you if that's what you think. I'm certainly not an expert when it comes to domains.

However, I've worked in the cleaning industry for 8 years, and I just really struggle to accept "squeegee" would be a trademark issue any more than any other generic name for a tool. I also know the the window cleaning world quite well, and recognise it as legitimate trade with good money in it - But can certainly understand how those who don't know the industry wouldn't.

I accept your valuation, but respectfully disagree on the critique of the term
