I have had quite a few offers lately for www.sportsgame.com and am trying to get an idea of the worth??? Any help appreciated.

I like it a lot. I'm big on sports though. I'm not the best appraiser but i would guess something in the low-mid xxx. Anything more and I would jump on it. But that's just me.

I would say sell for that price if you could, was going to appraise at low, thousands, low xxxx

what we mean by low xxx's is low hundreds, like 1-300 etc., however i think it is worth more than that, but if you can get 15,000 I would sell

I think it comes down to you really, like how desperate you are to sell, but certainly at $15k, you would have had a very good deal, in my opinion.

I don’t think I know enough about SpostsGame.com as a website to judge its value, so I’ll appraise based mostly on the domain name and not the contents of the site.
“Sports Game” shows up 1,160,000 times in google’s results and its overture is 22,688 which is very impressive.
It’s a little difficult to believe your site’s been around since 19-Jan-1998 because it only has 23 total backlinks and just 3 in google which is likely the reason it doesn’t appear in the top 100 search results for “sports game” in google.

Obviously Sports Game is a fantastic term and to own the .com makes it even more impressive. I’m not going to advise you as to whether you should accept the $15K offers or not but I’d say this domain is likely to be worth $5,000 to a reseller and $10,000 to $20,000 to an end user.

I purchased the name back in 98 and was doing a local fantasy football league and the site was great and yes I use it now for my practice but was recently contacted by someone to buy it and then by another person so I put it on ebay to see if it would sell or not. I have absolutely no idea of it's worth and never even thought about it until I was first contacted about selling it. I don't have other sites and did not buy this one with the intention of selling it, that is why I found this place and thought I would ask. What is ea? I'm not big on computers and such so that is why I came on to see what's up. To be honest I never even realized about selling domain names and that they were actually worth $ but hey I could always use some more $ myself!!!

I would be pissed if I sold it for $15k and then found out it was worth like $100k, that is what I am getting at, does that make sense?

probably will, I was shocked and excited at the offer, not even knowing that it had any value at all, not to sound greedy but I would love to get as much as I can, who couldn't use some more $ but I still have 2 more days and got no bids on ebay so will probably sell and be ecstatic with that! $15,000 is a good deal of money, however, this domain is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, then, it’s up to you to decide if you’re eager to take that price or wait for the possibility for someone prepared to pay more. I hope this makes sense.

That makes a ton of sense to me. EA= Electronic Arts I am assuming, a maker of sports games. Great idea to contact them, or a maker of board games, etc... I'd even contact espn for that matter.

$15k wow thats great. Like everyone is saying it really will come down to wether or not you wish to hold on and see if you could get more. I believe you could but timing (TIME) will be of importance. So if you need the money $15 is a great offer, if not depends.
