seen in a 50KM/H zone in Western Australia, Australia
The owner of the ute is just 18 and hasnt had the car for long , the owner was driving , in one of the pics there is a Cougar can on the ground next to the car and witnesses say they
appeared to be drunk.

Initial reports were the passenger was out of the ute yelling at his mate , driver was laying on the ground in a bad way apparently.
There was no serious injury , the driver received a bruised shoulder and the passenger walked away without a scratch.

Let this be a reminder oncer again that speeding . alcohol and in experience just do not mix !!!

For the Americans still using miles :p thats about 125 miles/ hour.

It is amazing that no one was killed or even seriously hurt in that crash and you'd hope that the drive and the passenger, and even people that read this will learn a lesson that drink driving and speeding alone are dangerous and that when you combine the two you have a very lethal mix.

Hi James, obviously the car broke in half and that is probably the reason why the front part was able to survive to the crash very well.
I`d like to know how long they have been put in jail to drive 200 on a 50K zone.

I used to drive 200K on the freeways but after getting several speeding fines (and they got me at doing just 115 on a 100K zone) my finances told me to slow down.

ah....that`s the difference: I never drink. But I come from a culture of speeding.

The problem here in Australia that people go driving while they can`t even walk. That`s the first issue.......before even we look at their odometers.

well i know alot of people with those meters in there cars that test there alcohol and drug levels, maybe they need to add more of them in cars, also in that photo, looks like they've hit that other car near them.

I`m skeptical about those meters: what does stop to let them use a friend`s mouth to blow in their behalf?

they test for your breath, they are pretty unbeatable, those police breath tests are beatable, whos to say these meters arn't to tho.

Ah, thanks for that! :gl:

Those kids sure were incredibly fortunate to have survived that crash without complications.

Makes me think about what could've happened to me when I went up to 125 mph last year for fun...I definitely wouldn't want this to happen to me! :|
