Spanish domain names

Hello how many of you guys register dot com spanish domain names?

I wouldn't touch the .es with a long stick but that is because my Spanish is really bad. The extention has a lot of potential but will require to understand Spanish. I don't see any English words do well with the .es extention, while good Spanish words will be worth a lot with .es

So if you speak enough Spanish to trace the available good terms and words, then I think you can make good money from it.
However, if you don't speak Spanish it is not interesting unless you use a dictionary and look up every single translation of words you think may be interesting. But I wouldn't put that much energy in it really.

If you speak enough Spanish to understand which words and terms will be doing well on the internet, in that case I think .es domains can be quite valuable and worth investing in.

If you know spanish you have a big upper hand in this market. Get a few 2 word .es phrases, and hold them. They will appreciate quite significantly I believe.

Nice names! But I have one question eAmerica.com you think a spanish domain name that start with e for example ecoches.com can sell? Like etrade.com or eloan.com you think the e is good for a generic spanish name?

I'm sure the Spanish speaking market will have great growth in the next one or two years. It's certainly worth while holding good spanish generics in .com and .es

Very simply - I don't know


"América" gets 58 million on Google, e- prefix seems to be recognised internationally- for $8 it was not much of a risk.

IDN in general are in their infancy eAmérica.com is highly recognisable even if you don't realise it is a Spanish accent, brandable- probably, saleable- probably - time- as always will tell.

I have more than 400 Spanish .coms of which maybe 150 are one word, dictionary terms.

Spanish market is growing VERY fast and I'm happy to say that I'm closing sales almost every day.

I focus on bulk transactions and quick money turnaround. Meaning that I search for cool FREE names, I register them, and then sell them a few days later for 10 - 20 or many more times the registration fee.

If anyone needs advice on selecting good names, or checking if the names bought are actually good, please feel free to ask.

comprar and vender are both verbs, if you want the nouns go for comprayventa that is still available (dont forget my cut on a future sale :lol: )
