Keith, that doesn't help. Is it $1,000 or is it $9,000... there's a huge difference. This $XXXX stuff is ridiculous.

That all depends on how good of a salesman 'you' are.

If you're looking for exact numbers, go use Estibot or Valuate. Though as there is no real way to appraise domains, they're just basically 'appease the domain owner' guesses, no different than what any other domainer or otherwise, can give you.

Thanks. I did try Estibot... they gave a ridiculous $150 value. A pronounceable, 4 letter, CVCV, .COM domain is at least worth upwards of $X,XXX or even lower to mid $XX,XXX.

I think some just throw out values like $XXXX to get a post count or something.

??..yet you use $XXXX to describe your own valuations!?! Oh, must be because Keith didn't use the 'comma'.

And don't fool yourself thinking every CVCV is worth 5 figs.

So many new members arrive here, ask for an appraisal, then complain about / insult the people who appraise. This doesn't make good first impressions on the domainer community.

Keith's "$XXXX" is a reasonable way to express a general range; others might help you winnow it down. If his input isn't helpful to you, thank him anyway and ask for other opinions. A little courtesy & humility goes a long way toward getting the pros to help you.

$163.42 is my appraisal, hope that's exact enough for you buddy :)

OP seems to have an overblown sense of entitlement...

Appraising domains can be very tricky, especially ones at this level.

It all depends on what the potential buyer wants; for example, if she/he wants this specific domain, then it may be worth $10,000, but if the potential buyer is simply shopping around for a nice short brandable, then maybe it's worth $100.

So that's why the good folks on this thread offer xxx or xxxx instead of specific numbers.

:)

Nothing is an exact science.

We can rule 5 figures out so now let's narrow it further. I've seen better domains sell for high $xxx and you should expect about that if you need to sell quick. Otherwise, as hawkeye said, it depends on how good a salesman you are...

List it on brandbucket. Mid xxxx is my bet for a suggestion.

Why?

Unless "soxa" actually has a true meaning or you find that "needle in the haystack", there is nothing to obtain that value.

Mid $xxx to low $xxxx.

Hitting the lottery is always possible, but there is that whole "odds" thing that comes into play.

IMHO

2,000-5,000.

I see you also have it listed on your site Brandroot for 7,399.
