Its never as clear cut as saying .com is worth $100k and .net is worth 10% of that or similar. Some names can hold a lot of value in the .com, but be worth little or nothing in other extensions. In other cases the .org can be worth almost as much as the .com. Different extension can suit different names.

Of course .com is king, very few people will disagree with that.

Agree with holyroller.

Also IMO, generally if a .com is valued at over 25,000+ you can expect the .org and .net versions to hold a value in the XXXX range.

The .info, .biz etc even with the same name usually would not be valued all that great.

You also need to realise that domains being sold at over 100,000 are being purchased by an end-user. No end-user in their right mind will fork out that money or even a tenth of that money for .info, .biz version etc. If you have the money to spend they will purchase The .com, .net or .org versions probally followed by the ccTLD for the country where they operate.

I have some sites where I own the .com and .co.uk and people have regged alternative extensions and tried to sell them to me.

The problem is with getting extensions of a developed/established .coms is that if you try and sell them the name you could be asking for trouble. Even if there is no registered TM they can still have some claim over the domain if you reg just to sell to them. So in these cases the alternative extensions have little value.
