2 of those names are really good. tbh you need a Brit to appreciate them
if you had cent.mobi, i'm sure an american could appreciate
i'm British & pence could be used for a currency site, financial etc. also you pinpoint a potential Presidential candidate, quite possible it may appeal to him? that way he doesn't have to keep regging the pence08, 012 etc lol & he can use the site for wherever his career takes him?
all possibilities.
lodgers.mobi is a good one too. i actually own lodger.mobi :hehe:
in the UK , a big market for housesharing & letting a back bedroom, student lets etc, so actually, lots of potential, in those two, but they will need development.

Do they get traffic? Do they earn revenue?
I registered a 9 letter dot com on the 1st of February, that earns real money.
Registering dot mobi's will make you go broke.
You can catch the dropped mobi's in 2 years, you will be able to get whatever you want then.
But for now, just stick to the dot coms. :imho:

I hope mobi works out for you , there is enough money on the net for alot of people , but sucky names wont hold value unless you develope it ... If you dont mind you can post why mobi future is so bright.

Because the world is moving to smaller ways of communications first PC then laptops and now mobile is the hype now almost aal mobiles have GPRS now latest models that come have 3g making mobile internet the future ppl will use more internet on the move there is no use of gprs or 3g mobiles if sites dont open on mobile and .mobi will make it possible to make mobile version of sites so that information is accessible via mobile

But if i want my site Cell Browser compatible i will just take the simple steps to make my .com compliant

easier said than done

you don't "just make it compliant"

you have to deal with so many different phones, browsers, operating systems and standards that it becomes extremely difficult to make it look good across a lot of user devices (including palms, blackberries, pocket pc etc)

the companies that founded mobi did so only because after so many years of dotcom sites rendering so badly on phones that they felt like they had no choice

mobi is for services and business focussed on mobile access

it's not really designed with the same purpose as full-size pc access

I def think as a Brit my fave domain is lodgers.mobi, in my eyes thats a little piece of gold for a uk letting agency, but this is one you must develop i don't think reselling it would be advisable unless of course you get a good offer through!
