Some advice please...

Hi all

I would welcome any help and advice on the following.

Some time ago I purchased a number of domains with a view to developing them and with half an eye on resale etc. Due to ill health and other commitments I never got around to doing anything with them and took my eye right off the ball.

Question is should I hold on to them, develop them (if so, with what) or just let them expire? Your views would be gratefuly received as I am far from an expert in these matters!

none of the keyword domains really stand out as easily saleable to me ( happy to be wrong ), though some of them do seem useable e.g. fakewar.com and could be sold.

uwoz could probably easily fetch $200 or more, and zomaz could be worth money in future ( it does seem to mean something as well, but not a massive amount of google results indicates to me that it is not a hugely popular meaning ).

so, not 100% sure about the rest, but definitely do not drop uwoz.com

uwoz.com is a definate keeper. zomaz.com might be a keeper or you can sell it.

The others, I can't really see much value in them.

yeah, uwoz.com should pay the past regfees of others, now you could just put them up for sale at 5$ each and drop those who don't sell...

I would love to develop fakewar into something like outwar but wouldnt know wher to start to be honest!

I really like FutureWeek.com.....

I think that could be a great technology website.....updated weekly or monthly.

I can even hear the tag line for a tv show....."What will technology bring us; tune in next week for your future."

All and all, I think that could be a great website...but i also realize that there is alot of competition on the net with technology news related sites.

Edit: For Sure keep uwoz.com: that is a fine investment.

I really like futureweek too and had the same idea for a technology based news portal/site type thing. Unfortunately lack of cash to pay for professional development and lack of ability to do it myself.

As for FakeWar.com I would love the idea of an online game but again no idea (and cash) to get it started. Any idea anyone?

I like concertsale.com, too bad this is not an auction ... ecogoal.com could offer some value to eco conscious companies so you could possibly get a fair price for that.

anything you dont want to keep, if you are going to let them expire, it never hurts to put them up for sale, if even to try and get your reg fee back- you never know who will buy what
