I am beginning to think that target wants to change their target audience to increase sales of items like the following.

Boycott target this year. The Salvation Army "Bell Ringers" raise about $90million every year for the homeless and now target has banned them from the property.

Targets reason is they dont want "religious" organisations on their property.

well, they wont have the religious consumers dollars either.

I see their point. If they allow them then they have to allow everyone else that wishes to have a fund raiser. How would you feel if you went to there and the KKK or some other hate group was standing there asking for cash?

It's not Target's fault that they are homeless and too lazy to find a job. There's no reason why anyone should be homeless and if they are then it's their own fault. Jobs are plentiful and it doesn't take a rocket scientist or a college education to find a job, even flipping burgers at a fast food joint would be better than nothing. There's plenty of housing to stay in for low income individuals which they could live in if they got themselves a job. It's their laziness that's to blame, not Target or any stores who ban the Salvation Army.

Target is a retailer, they're not a homeless shelter or a charity organization.

I highly doubt that many people would boycott a store for banning the Salvation Army. If anyone is that religious and they stop going to a store without an annoying bell ringer from the Salvation Army because they were banned then they have issues. The Home Depot stores banned them too, would you boycott them and go to Lowes just because they don't want them on their property? I don't think so and besides The Home Depot stores donate millions to them every year so they more than make up for the ban.

I myself find it very annoying to go to a store and listen to a bell ring from the point I get out of the car to when I walk through the store's door. It's a good way to get business taken away from them and there's plenty of other places that the Salvation Army can go to. If someone wants to donate to them that badly then they can always mail their donation to them if someone feels that strongly for the cause.
