I think the previous poster wasn't thinking the domain socialbookmarks .net but rather marks.net with a bunch of subdomains / directories.

So, you own the whole word in the .net is that correct? Not marks.net with everything else as a subdomain?

Yes, i own the whole domain ( the "/" doesn't exist). Its 1 word.
