Does anyone know where I can get a script that will enable people to text message an update to a website? kind of like twitter where you text your status?

Well, Getting closer to what I am looking for but what I want is for people to be able to text a number? (not sure what) and it would send whatever they text to my website. Just like you text twitter and it updates your status. I would wan people to text a number and it update to the wall @ my site beliefwall.com

Are you talking like 33455 kinda like you see on tv for the "Joke of the day" text? If so those are called short codes. You can purchase a shared code of lease a code but let me tell you its expensive. Do a google search for short codes and you will see a ton of providers.

Basically the short code is a gateway between the wireless devices and your web server scripts doing the actual work.
