Slow Daddy

I changed nameservers 2 ago and still hasn't resolved to new, which is annoying as i am keen to try a minisite , i will wait one more day and perhaps email them ?

What's the longest you have had to wait for nameserver change with them ?

Make sure you clear the DNS cache on your workstation (aka stop DNS cache service and or reboot). IMO.

i waited nearly 3 days last week with godaddy, funny thing was i changed the nameserver on another name at the same time and that resolved in about 2 hours!!

i did some changes for other domains over weekend , just the one at godaddy seems to be slow daddy

Usually with dot coms they resolve quickly at godaddy (about 10 minutes for me) Other extentions (.biz and .info) sometimes take 1 day or so (I'm not sure why). Always clear your cookies and re-check the domain

I also find that Godaddy handles .coms VERY fast (did one today). I have had some take 12 hours but no longer, unless I screwed up on something.

Do that.

Start menu - Run - cmd - then in the command line window write:

ipconfig /flushdns

Then try to resolve the domain.

try to look with some online pings with diff sites u can see

more power to godaddy for upselling so many hosting plans but they are a registrar first. when you host, your host should be a host first (primary biz) imho...

why are people still offering advice when i have already said it changed , it was a simple ns1+ns2 change , just the same as any other registrar

the question was 'how long have you had to wait'
