Hi,

I'm adapting a image hosting script. Basically I just want to change the design/layout. Now I'm used to html and css files and adapting them. So I'm now a little confused as I can't seem to find a index.html file in the documents.
When I "save as" in firefox, I do get the index.html but where is that housed?

Or do I have to minipulate a php to change design? If someone could explain this process it would be greatly appreciated. It's obviously something I have to get used too, as I noticed the same thing with wordpress.

Thanks in advance :)

Image hosting scripts, wordpress etc make use of server side scripting languages like php, where the page is generated on the server and then sent to the user.
Saving the page will only save the final generated page.
You'll have to edit the php files for the changes to reflect in the final output.
Hope this made some sense.

That makes sense. So can I ask do you see the changes in your design visually?

Like usually I use a html editor.

So I can't upload the rehashed index.html file anywhere?

Php code is a goobly goop to me.

Go to your FTP client, download the php script, open a text editor (or Dreamweaver or whatever.) - Don't touch the parts within <?php ?>, only change the HTML.

I advise you do it via a text-based editor.
