Site Re-Design

Hi,

I am in the process of re-designing my website. I am looking for feedback on the style/layout etc of my new design.

Most links dont work. (I will be implementing the other pages when I get the design sorted. Also the site news is old, it is generated from the news section of the forum, which I havent updated in a while!

It's not really 'explosive' is it? Using basic gray square shapes would arouse the feeling of being subdued (dull colour) and stationary (hard, straight lines). But we don't want to be subdued and stationary when it comes to racing do we?

We want to feel like we're taking part in a race with fast, flowing lines portraying motion and exhilaration. We also want flashy colours that will grab our attention as we speed by and also let us focus on the areas we're aiming for.

How about incorporating the colours one would usually see on the racetrack; red and white for formula one, or green, blue and brown for rallies?

Of course, if you want a subdued and 'formal' website then by all means use grays and sharp edges, but that's your decision.
