Hi everyone
Not sure if this is the right place for this query, but I'm sure someone can offer some help.
I have recently had some low life visit one of my sites and repeatedly abuse the feature 'report dead link' Effectively, they have reported every link on the site as being dead (which they aren't). Clearly we are dealing with a child mentality here or a certified moron.
It results in a torrent of emails from my site which is irritating and time wasting. I would hope that it isn't a Namepros member, but rest assured, I will track them down. Hopefully you guys can help accellerate the process.
I have studied the stats for the site in question via my CPANEL and compared these to the times of the auto generated emails. It is conclusive in terms of the offending IP address. What I would like to know is how can I now pinpoint the culprit. I have used http://www.ripe.net/whois but this is inconclusive. If I cant pinpoint the individual, perhaps I can establish the ISP and get the ISP to deal with them.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Happy New Year to you all!
