Hello,

I really need help guys! I copple of people made an offer on my domain name SingleDating.net. The highest offer so far is EUR 2.200. Should i take the offer? I think its a bit low and I think this domain name has a lot of potential. This domain name has more OVERTURE then onlinedating.net, adultdating.net, internetdating.net, datingservices.net etc.etc.

Please appraisal this domain name!

Overture in July was more then 320.000 (excl. extension)
Overture in August was more then 370.000
Overture in September was more then 270.000

Dont you think guys its smarter to develop the domain name in to a nice dating website?

i wouldnt sell it for that price, its a nice domain i agree with you

i would develop it..trying to get some traffic .. and than sell it for a bigger price !!

I won't sell it. I will develop it into a dating site, that can make that profit in just a month, if proper marketing is carried out.

You will regret when you remember you had this domain but sold it. Keep it, the price can only increase. Develop it, you can make more.

It's a nice domain but the .net ext hurts slightly. You can still brand around the idea of .net = networking which fits dating well.
I think €2200 is not a bad offer. You can try to raise the bar a little bit but I would consider selling at this price.
You may need to justify your asking price if you want more. Overture in itself is not enough, however if you have some existing traffic this would be a plus (do you have traffic stats ?).
Of course developing domains is often the best solution but it does not guarantee a steady flow of income, there is a lot of effort involved as well.
Just think how much time and effort it would take to earn those €2200.
It all boils down to whether you want/need the money and your long-term plans for that name (if any).
