simple layout that is not confusing.. very easy to navigate.

The mailing list link on the left takes up two lines.. I would make the link bars a little wider so you have only single lines for the links.

also the background colour seems a bit brown for me.. I would recommend something in an eggshell or off white.. maybe a toupe if you want to keep the brownish colour.. just a bit lighter.

thats my two pennies.. BTW paying tribute to POW/MIA servicemembers is ALWAYS appropriate!

Thanks for the comments guys.
I completely changed the colors and did widen the menu
hopefully no double lines now.

it looks alot better in that color but i would make the links a little bit darker than the rest of the site...but thats just my opinion
