Just from a designers perspective, I thought I'd give some feedback to you Uncovered. I understand what you are after, and I understand the "classy/Sophisticated" look you are after. I think we all do.

Also, looking at the deigns you like and call sophisticated in the link you provided, you need to remember that they are designed based on a brand, product, etc. Certainly, if you take the wine bottle with the company info inside it.

The challenge I think everyone here is experiencing, is that you do not have any form of brand, product, item, service....etc.

In some respects, it's a lot like designing a logo for the word "And".

Anyhows, if you do have any further thoughts in terms of what it is trying to convey to the viewer and where it will be used, it would be useful.

dlight- 3/3.2 is probably the most modern logo I've seen. Can you come up with more designs

Matt - Your absolutely right. Thats why I tried adding in the culture theme in the beginning but it didnt go to well. I just want something that you would see at a high end fancy restaurant where u get $2 worth of food for the price of $100 lol.

Matt - Its actually one of my friends last name.. He just wants a logo for himself. So when hes ready to start his business he will use it. Hes just saving right now and doesnt know what he wants.
