Hello fellow members :wave

I'd appreciate your thoughts on the name SickIt (sickit).

I've been thinking about using it for a technical support site branded as SickIT, but feel it may be too negative. Please provide your opinion regarding this usage as well as any other applications you can think of for the name.

The negative part depends on the demographic:

- for people under 28 sick is slang for dope, if ya know what I'm sayin'
- for people over 30, it could sound negative.

But, if you market yourself as the IT doctor, making sick IT stuff better, then you spin the negative into a positive regardless of age.

When it comes to price, it should sell for any amount, dependent on how much the buyer wants the domain. To a reseller, xx to low xxx should be a normal price I reckon.

My advice is for you to develop that domain into a how-fix-it website, with tutorials regarding various hardware and software fixes. But, if you have the knowledge and infrastructure, you can turn that site into a service business oriented on IT.
