Sick As A Dog

Right around Christmas time I had a wicked cold.. I was out of work for a week! Well, I think it's back.. only worse! I ache all over, have a fever and chills, and of course a terrible cough.. been taking cough medicine all day but doesn't seem to be helping. I have to work from 5pm to 10:30 tomorrow night too.. ugh!

I HATE being sick!

Sorry to hear that Dave, I hope you get well soon and are back to normal in no time. I haven't gotten anything worse than a cold yet this winter so hopefully it stays that way as there's a bunch of stuff going around. It's never any fun getting sick.

Go rest and drink plenty of orange juice, as the vitamin c is great for you!

I was hoping I'd feel better this morning after a good night's sleep because I have to work tonight.. and I wish it was a "little" cold.. gah, I have to do laundry and run to return some DVD's to the video store. Crap!

Work makes it so hard to take a day off when you're sick.. they require you to get a doctor's note. With no insurance I don't want to pay for a DR's visit everytime I'm under the weather... the last time I went, he gave me a note for a week's rest and once you have that note, you can't go back into work even if you're feeling better beforehand. I don't want to miss another week either... I just want to sleep(!) for another day!

Yeah.. that's always a possibility, just that we're already short-staffed and I'm the closer for tonight. I'll survive.. just want to make sure I cough on every piece of food going out tonight.. always wanted to start an epidemic! :D

Well, I went into work and felt miserable the entire time so let them know I won't be in for my shift tomorrow night.. that gives me tomorrow and Friday to rest a bit more before my Saturday shift.

Have you taken any antibiotics ? I was sick a few weeks ago and was really down.
went to the doctor and he gave me the Antibiotic "Zithromax" AKA (Z Pack)
It works wonders! took for 5 days and it cleared up fast! But I kinda feel like its coming back. been a little dizzy all day. Anyway...
