Microsoft’s Holoportation is a new type of 3D capture technology that allows high-quality 3D models of people to be reconstructed, compressed and transmitted anywhere in the world in real time. When combined with mixed reality displays such as HoloLens, this technology allows users to see, hear, and interact with remote participants in 3D as if they are actually present in the same physical space. Communicating and interacting with remote users becomes as natural as face-to-face communication.

Fans of Star Trek should be familiar with the concept of teleportation. While current science has not reached that stage yet, something similarly exciting is brewing in Microsoft’s labs. The company’s latest innovation is ‘holoportation,’ achieved by the HoloLens. Simply put, this could be our typical Skype video calls of the future. What it does is simple, yet magical. Holoportation enables a user to appear anywhere in the world, in real time, as if he is actually there. The user’s image is captured in 3D by cameras placed around the room. It is then stitched together, compressed and transmitted so someone else can see, hear and interact with him as though he’s right there with them. You can even playback previous interactions, as though ‘walking into a living memory,’ and miniaturise the content to make it easier to consume.

Ok, I have domain names in my portfolio that's futuristic, and also contains the word tele (kind of) ..5gtelco.com; 5gtelcos.com; A5gtelco.com; America5dtv; Lostelefonos5g.com; Russia5dtv.com; telefonomovil5g.com; VR5DTV.COM; "5G" or "6G" technology is needed in order for Teleportation to work effectively. In the IOT (INTERNET OF THINGS) we will not only use our televisions, and phones for teleportation, we may be able to use our cars, laptops, refrigerators, radios.. etc. as all these things will be connected in the world of "5G". We may even go from "3D" to "4D" to 5D very soon.
