Thanks to @Lox we now know, that Microsoft owns the domain copilot .si

SI, clearly, stands for Super Intelligence in this case.

Do you own any .si domains?

I'll start with the one I have;

Roboter .si

How about you?

Looking at these sales....I hand registered a few LN .si

Show attachment 276880

LN will require adoption IMO, however if you are comfortable holding them for fey years the upside could be definitely worth it.

Usually LL or NN are way more popular and easier to move.

I should check the hold time on the .AI sales just for fun.

Guys, secure your surnames.

Mine was taken by a German company with the same (very rare) name recently. I know them, know their strategy to take alle European ccTLDs which are their markets but didnยดt act. This of all things has to happen to me.

Thank you! Yes, I am aware of this Sedo feature.

For that amazing 9L noun (If it's what I think it is based on your description), the buyer got a great deal!

Thanks again.
I still owe the group the clarification of this sale.

The price, as I said, isn't particularly exciting. The buyer is. Since the buyer opted for privacy in the Whois, I won't say anything more about him.

I'm retracting the speculation that the domain purchase might have something to do with his employer, Microsoft, for now. Microsoft would be visible in the Whois and not be working with an employee or another straw man, right?

From time to time I check all available names in my .si watchlist for changes. The following new registrations happened in the past two weeks, listed here by domain holder country.

There are no important findings, I just think it's worth mentioning the confirmation of global interest in the TLD.

USA 13 new regs
Germany 10
India 9
China 3
Sweden 3
Ireland 2
Morocco 2
Spain 2
Iceland 1
Netherlands 1
Romania 1
Slovenia 1

(48 new regs in two weeks, taken from a population of 5,600 available watchlist domains.)
Again I checked all available names in my .si watchlist for changes.

The following 250 new registrations happened in the past four weeks until last Monday, listed here by domain holder country.

The regs include words like afford, avoid, awards, bargain, blind, buffer, chia, cryptic, elect, ensure, icy, lie, liver,
oversight, pathos, puppy, rates, recreation, revival, shipment, shoot, shorts, sloth, some, stoic, strange, tall, tease, thank, totem, tuner, vacuum, warning, waste (dot .si).

USA 115
Germany 38
Slovenia 20
China 11
France 8
Greece 8
Egypt 6
India 6
Ireland 6
Australia 4
Canada 4
Bangladesh 3
Netherlands 3
Morocco 2
Russia 2
Vietnam 2
Colombia 1
Great Britain 1
Hungary 1
Italy 1
Jamaica 1
Korea 1
Latvia 1
Poland 1
Saudi Arabia 1
Slovakia 1
Spain 1
St. Kitts & Nevis 1

(250 new regs in four weeks, taken from a population of 5,800 available watchlist domains. I am adding daily to the watchlist, thatยดs why the available number is higher than the last time despite registrations.)

@Name2go do you mind if I share the data you've been collecting?

Feel free to use the data. I'm glad I'm not doing the work for nothing.

Furthermore, the numbers support the theory that dot .si is used globally (Google!) IMO, so spread them.

Superintelligence is one word, as @Bob Hawkes pointed out one year ago. Maybe you can adjust the spelling, Mate.

Below are the current registration numbers from the Registry. Since when this thread started about 9,500 registrations have been added. We may cross 10k before we celebrate the first birthday on June 23rd.

Things are rising rapidly now. This is primarily due to new discoverers of the extension from the US, like our colleague @lambo.com .

hey either we all make it together and sail to the Bahamas on a Superyacht, or we go down together in an old dinghy in the Bermuda Triangle.

the latter option is not going to be fun at all but the first option be like Charlie Bucket finding the Golden Ticket.

this is what's going to dissect the true believers from the disbelievers.

We are here because we Believe!
