Thanks to @Lox we now know, that Microsoft owns the domain copilot .si

SI, clearly, stands for Super Intelligence in this case.

Do you own any .si domains?

I'll start with the one I have;

Roboter .si

How about you?

An interesting incident: Today I sold a good .si domain on Sedo for way too little money. I want to keep my domain holdings below 1% of all registered Superintelligence Stepping Stones, and I'm currently scratching at that threshold, which is why I'm a bit more inclined to part with treasures. If I exceed 1%, I'll invite you on my fictitious yacht, and we'll sail to the madhouse in Atlantis.

This little story isn't the interesting incident. The buyer of the domain is. He's an American who works as a "Principal Software Engineering Manager" at Microsoft (source Linked.in). He was also politically active and can be found as a poker player. The guy is currently considering emigrating to Slovenia.

Well, is your blood pressure rising? I'd like to share that the buyer is building up Microsoft's "Superintelligence Copilot" division in Slovenia, but I can't. Perhaps he's solely pursuing private motives, and the domain is something like his personal roadmap.

I'll report more when the deal is finalized. It's not done yet. @SLDOptions Please don't share this elsewhere; it's not newsworthy yet.

Hi Name2go, thanks for the information.

Was the domain a single dictionary word? Could you at least disclose the price of this sale?

I'm trying to find a reasonable wholesale price for the domains I would rather not renew in the coming months.

Thanks.

Yes, a single dictionary word. A noun whose meaning is covered by services like Google Maps or any navigation system without requiring a domain name. In a figurative sense, the word could have a more significant meaning.

The purchase price is 500 USD. Sedo allows you to set the bid price to be lower for BIN prices. I set this to 500 USD and received offers for various .si domains with much higher BIN, which I rejected.

This Sedo functionality has one weakness: the buyer's country of origin is not displayed. I would hardly sell to an American for 500 bucks, but I would certainly sell to a Slovenian. The economic power differs enormously.

Congratulations any sale is a good sale regardless of the price however the importance this sale is that it was acquired by the principal software engineering manager at Microsoft which makes it 100 times more important.

can you at least share his email address please from register.si and block out all other text? This would truly help with .si adoption throughout the ecosystem.

i was so excited didn't even get to read the part where you said please don't share it.

Thank you! Yes, I am aware of this Sedo feature.

For that amazing 9L noun (If it's what I think it is based on your description), the buyer got a great deal!

Thanks again.

That's good news from everywhere all around. .si is definately picking up. On X, people have started discussing .si. A little update from my side as well -

1. Testimonial/si is live and working. I have gotten arond 10 waitlist till now. Hopefully will double down and add some more features and launch in PH by July. Haven't gotten the time do stuff lately.
2. Have got offers on - Otter, PDF and one more. All through Namemaxi as I am using their landers on some. But none of them have converted. Shows a growing interest. Even if resellers, they are ones with okay budget, unlike me :D

Digital asset investing starts with forward-thinking.

Are you a visionary or the last passenger left behind on the platform after the train departs?

artificial.si sold just last month for $4,999, ai.si also recently sold for $34,000 and that’s only the beginning. There are still plenty of premium one-word .si domains available, perfect for early movers in the ASI (super intelligence) space. (NFA)
