SI, clearly, stands for Super Intelligence in this case.

Mathematical.si was available for handreg until today. A fellow Scandinavian member of this forum is the winner of the registration race. Congrats and good luck.

Yes but this is another story. I received an offer for my math.si a few days ago. Today I followed the impulse to register the generic mother name mathematics.si - and I was not yet aware of the MSI news. Weird.

It won't push the needle too much until the registry itself markets .SI as "Super Intelligence". Same was for .TV, .IO, and .AI. Until then it's pure speculation imho.

Point taken. Main difference imo, TV io and ai have a long history and have had meaning to a broad audience since at least a couple of decades (maybe io not so much, bit more niche).

Nobody random would recognise .si to have any meaning, besides Spanish people I guess

That being said, never hurts in invest in some speculative names!

A first reflex: If the buyer goes up to 1-2k, sell and pay renewals. But that might be the wrong approach. Experienced domainers and insiders want to buy our best keys for good pocket money. Fair prices for a small ccTLD though. I think the small ccTLD is gradually becoming a thing of the past at dot.si. The expectation of superintelligence has to be priced in. In “a few thousand days” the expectation will also be history.

What do you guys think? The SLD "Math" is probably not available for less than 500k in .com, not less than 50k in .ai and not less than 20k in .io. The expectation puts the name in the region of 5-10k in .si at the moment IMO. The dollar-rich startup to MSI represents an expectation multiplier if they can't get happy with .fun or .sucks or .lol.

On the other hand, as the saying goes, the value of a domain is determined by what a buyer is willing to pay.

I first have to convince myself that the Atom .si Marketplace is a reality. Do I have a dream? Is it April 1st already?

Do we all realize that the third engine stage is being ignited even though the rocket is still at the launch site?

Atom is so innovative and transfers this label exclusively to dot.si.

In my mind, Atom is a prefered playground of the well-known and successful top domainers. Let one of these people appear in the DNJournal with a purchase, then even those who draw their self-confidence from pseudo-critical, manipulative fine bashing will understand.

ATOM obviously has access to Silicon Valley. VCs and start-ups are lined up like dominoes. Who will be the first to topple and build a relevant website on a .si domain?

At a time, when everybody is talking about Super Intelligence (and trust me, once SI is on the brink of emergence, or just BILLIONS of investment happening, they will all talk about SI),

the next logical think will be a hype about .SI domains.

As of now, we are in the AI hype,

But my bet is, that AGI will arrive much faster than we think,

but at the same time INVESTMENT into Super Intelligence datacenters will explode like never before.


There are hundreds of billions being invested into this whole field.


Therefore, .si could become a huge thing.
