SI, clearly, stands for Super Intelligence in this case.

It seems that we missed this company announcement (June 19th).

Safe .si is registered by the University of Ljubljana. I am dreaming of a collaboration between the company and the University - fantasy, not even hopium.

To be honest, I think people seeked to make a machine as intelligent as a human (more/less),
and call it artificial intelligence.

That was the conception, all time until ~1 year ago.


Nobody could have known, that a machine actually can get a lot more intelligent than a human
(which will be the new standard conception from this moment in time forward).


Surely, you can only call it Super Intelligence.

A decade and a half ago, the dot .me landrush delighted domainers. A creative colleague set up a relatively simple showcase with a marketplace on funk.me. It no longer exists. But the basic idea is still attractive, I think. Members buy and sell among themselves. Today you would add affiliate links to Sedo or similar, I guess.

Well the most recent .si domain name sold was actually on the list but I can't exactly be certain if the lead came through the list or not. However what I can tell you is that the engagement, views, reads, replies and general discussions around .si domains have certainly gone up.

Also I am constantly adding more names to the list as more domainers/indivuduals reach out to me on social or via email asking to add their names.

For example I shared a tweet on my social X, about how to cut the middle-men for .si domains by grabbing the who is email record from register.si and that had has received good traction.

Members buying and selling .si domains amongst themselves is a brilliant idea but I'm not sure what the best way to set this up on Sedo. Haven't used Sedo much maybe I need to look into it to see how the affiliates work.

So far with all the data collected (privately) I am confident if a buyer/investor or end user reached out to me either form the medium or x, I will be able to forward him/her to the owner of the domain without a problem.

I am now slowly adding extensions & search results for each name which will bring further traffic.

Great news, the domain name Deploy.si sold at Sedo. I remeber adding this domain to my medium article not long ago.
