Hi.

Should I sell tordb.com for 250 euro? Or would the value be higher in the future? I don't need the money now. I've heard that patience is important in the domain business, and, therefore, I'm planning to refuse the offer. Would that be a good idea? By the way I'm not having any content on the site.

you need to factor in the subjectivity of valuation of domains

it is worth 250 euros to that end user, but probably won't be worth that much to people you shop it to after that

but if you have confidence in its value, and it's potential for a higher re-sale value, you need to be able to articulate why exactly you feel that way

i personally don't see why you shouldn't sell that domain for that price. it is an LLLLL.com which are relatively easy to obtain as opposed to LLLL.com

I asked for 350 euro to not seem too cheap. That way I thought that he would suggest 300 euro for it instead. However, I haven't heard anything from him now. Moreover, I think it was stupid of me to list the whole domain up here, in case he googles it. I should have written it as tord b . com or something like that.

Well you chose not to listen to the advice you asked for, now you will have to wait a very very long time to see another offer like that one, if ever. Put it down to a learning experience.

Why did you make a counter offer when everybody (inc. seasoned domainers) told you to sell?

Looks like it's his first name and last initials.
