The domain name Sharc.com has hit the auction block over at GoDaddy, you can read more about it on my latest blog.

Currently, the domain name is at $70 USD but has over 7 days to run, it previously sold for $2,588 USD according to GoDaddy and they value it just under 10K

However, do you see value in this domain name? Would you classify it as a type of Share.com or a brandable alternative to Shark.com?

Awesome name. This is an excellent sample of how typo makes a great brandable word. Rather than ''share'' I see ''shark'' and all relevant associations.
This name will easily go on this auction for mid XXX, could be low XXXX.
Good luck snatching it! (y)(y)

It's a solid brand. I like single word terms like that with one letter off.

They might not pass the radio test, but not everyone could afford a domain like "Shark.com".

There might be some specific TM uses for the term that you need to avoid though.

Yeah, I agree wouldn’t be a great one for the radio test, I too would lean that it has more potential as a brandable.
