Several questions

I have a couple questions, as i am new to the domaining buisness.

1. Im trying to land a couple nice domains for upcoming mmos (big ones). If the site names are aimed at sales of virtual goods (accounts, characters, items, etc) who and where would i try to sell the domains when the games come out.

2. My research tends to show that most site hits come from unique original articles. If i started a blog type site and wrote up an article every week, how long would it take to get a steady stream of hits to the site, and what techniques would i use to get the site hits.

3. I signed up for resellercluster a reseller hosting site, my site is winghosting . com what is an efficent way of getting the site hits, and where would be a good place to advertise the site. I hope i get some sign ups from this site, i placed it in my signature, as i have seen msot people do with their sites.

1. You can try entering in the keywords that relate to the domains, then contact people that place paid ads you see listed, they may be interested.

2. In my experience most traffic comes from search engines. But there are many ways to get traffic to a site. You need to do some reserach in this area to start the learning process. Start by learning about SEO and 'unique visitors".

3. This is much the same question. Learn about web marketing and the many different ways that you can get traffic to your site.

And I see that one of your posts was deleted in this one was edited. Please read the rules of any forum you visit before you start posting. Forums are a great place to network and do some marketing, but most have rules about advertising and self-promotion. The best way to do it on most forums is make good, honest posts and have a good signature. If you would not post if you did not get a link out of it, DON'T POST.

Thanks for the answers nielsencl. I admitidly skipped over the rules as anyone does for any forums, i now see that NP is more than any average forum and all the members take the rules quite seriously. Thanks for the advice, it will definetly benifit me.
