Check the end of the thread for the latest LLL.in drops. Current full available lists are posted intermittently by members, and the most current would be toward the end of the thread also. Otherwise, user Chandan often has an updated available list on his external site, here: Available LLL.in Domains list - Indian Blogs

Consider yourself lucky and smart to own such a nice "slice" of the lll.in pie.

Dream on. Buyouts do not have the effect of driving prices up, because the buyouts are artificial (domainer-driven) and not the result of end user demand. See LLL.us/.biz/.info/.etc...
Instead, focus on decent combos in reasonable quantities, rather than pick the remaining pigeon droppings nobody wanted :)

Buyouts have a psychological impact on domainers and for sure, will produce an increase of prices for reseller to reseller sales.

xze.de was a "pigeon dropping" some years ago, but can be sold on Sedo for a reasonable price now.

That's all you can expect but I need not lecture you on the state of the reseller market for that type of domains.
End users will be interested in one specific combo: the one matching their corporate name. That's why it doesn't matter whether all LLL are taken or not. It's not like they have alternatives really, unless they choose another extension.
I have sold LLL.ccTLD where there has been no buyout yet.
Buying the remaining unfavorable combos = holes in your pockets. End users are not aware of buyout/no buyout. Artificial buyout fools nobody but the dreamers

Mostly true but I don't agree on all of it.

Look at LLL.de, they go for at least low $xxx on the reseller market. These prices only happen after a buyout as speculators would just register other LLL names if they were available, instead of buying some at $xxx.

The good part about LLL.in is, they are very cheap compared to other LLL.cctld domains. Over a billion Indians are out there, many many enduser companies in India. It's a rapidly developing country with a big online branche. I think these names are still underappreciated, if compared to for example LLL.de and LLL.cn names.

I have indeed bought good LLL.de for low โ‚ฌโ‚ฌโ‚ฌ but selling in that range is pocket change. You will never maximize domain worth by flipping to domainers.

In theory there is a lot of potential, especially in the long term. Until then I'm not sure .in pays so much better than .us for example.
I think domainers are missing the big picture.

Very encouraging ! :)

And for the occasion, an interesting article by Ron Jackson on the buyout phenomenon:

Personally I think those 11 remaining domains will show up on next year's droplist :|

I don't think it is a good idea to align your strategy to that of a man who never sells a domain name. Elequa can afford to collect domains at a loss.

Also, there are some flawed ideas expressed in that article:
This time the expenditure allowed him to do something he loves more than anything else โ€“ create. In this case he instantly created a market by removing supply from the 3-letter .biz/.info supply and demand equation. Even though as new extensions the demand is currently relatively low, there is enough demand that when you pair it with zero supply, prices start rising. Average high bids on three-letter .infos have roughly quadrupled at Namewinner in recent days (Namewinner does not chase .biz drops).
Scarcity does not automatically create a market. And that article is 7 years old already, tell me how much typical LLL.biz or .info are selling for these days ? Assume their value has really quadrupled, they are still selling for pocket change, in fact they are hardly selling.

I think the buyout concept is a domainer myth. In general when domainers attempt to corner a market they end up dropping everything after losing money on unsustainable domains.

If you really want to invest in acronym domains, I think it's wiser to look at mature TLDs like LLL.co.uk, .de or even .pl, and of course LL.de if you have a comfortable budget.
.in is a path of least resistance where you shouldn't expect strong rewards. It's just too easy to lose money with domains.
